Originally from Liverpool, UK.
I moved to NYC in 1986 to follow my passion in photography, film making and post production.
I worked as a professional photographer through 1996 and was awarded many national/international accounts and publications.
However, feeling stagnant in the industry, I moved to CA to pursue my second passion of cinematography.
While working as a free-lance photographer for “The San Francisco Examiner Chronicle” and studying in The Arts Institute, I became a qualified cinematographer and stedi-cam operator in 1998. I moved back to New York to pursue even further ventures in producing.
I opened my own recording studio in 2008 allowing me to work closer and more intimately with major, radio stations, TV networks and movie studios. Within months I won accounts with Jay-Z, Richard Gere, Blythe Danner, Thalia, Live Schreiber and more. Once Bulldog Studios was running smoothly with two engineers, I returned to my first love of photography and portraits.
NEW YORK PRESS ASSOCIATION recently awarded me “1st prize” for best “Sports Feature Photograph” in 2014.

I treat every portrait session as an original challenge, as the needs are never generic. I carefully custom plan a portrait, from lighting design, location and composition.
